Harvard Macy Institute Initiates Call for New Participants

Medical school faculty and educators:

 

As you plan your professional development activities for this academic year, consider the Harvard Macy Institute – Programs for Academic Leaders.   The Institute has been offering programs for health care faculty since 1994 and is committed to creating a global community of faculty scholars dedicated to transforming health care delivery and education.    

·         January 18-28 & May 17-22, 2009 – Program for Educators in the Health Professions – to be held at Harvard University campuses in Boston and Cambridge,  MA          

·         March 7-13, 2009 – A Systems Approach to Assessment in Health Science Education – to be held at the White Oak Plantation, Jacksonville, FL

·         June 14-19, 2009 – Program for Leading Innovations in Health Care and Education – to be held at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA

Applications to all 2009 programs are now being accepted at the Institute’s website – www.harvardmacy.org.   For more information see individual program details at the website or contact Harvard_macy@hms.harvard.edu

Topics covered include file placement specifications, technical criteria for placement of photographs and charts, and the use of color to communicate.
